It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Steele (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Garnish, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Grandy and Winnie Grandy (Day); her husband Bill; and her siblings, Larry Grandy and Winnie Walton (Eric).
She is survived by: her son Tom (Sarah); her grandchildren, Shanea Keaton and Keyanna Houg (James); her great grandchildren, Ja'Nia, Flora and Mckenna; and her sisters, Doris Stanley (Brian), Bedford and Jean Haley (Garnet) of Largo, FL.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
