Bernadette (Bernie) Whitty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette (Bernie) Whitty (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Janie Fitzgerald (Billy) of Ingonish, Millie Scott (Billy) of Ingonish, Martha Dunphy (Jim) of Ingonish, Marion Pearson (Ronnie) of Ingonish, Mary Hawley of Ingonish, Donna Whitty of Ingonish, Alice Whitty of Ingonish, Brenda Wells (Ernie), Leisa Syms (John) of New Glasgow, William Whitty of Ingonish and Greg Whitty (Kim) of Ingonish; her husband Ambrose; her son Brian; her siblings, Helen, Martha, Rachel, Bridget, John, Jim and Rob; her granddaughter Tanya Pearson; her sons-in-law, Tommy Hawley and Barry Hebb; her mother Highland Manor; and her friend Hannah. She was also cherished by 33 Grandchildren, 38 Great, and 19 Great Great Grandchildren.
