He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex MacDonald and Annie MacDonald (Tobin); his siblings, John MacDonald and Mildred Davis; and his brother-in-law Gerald Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian MacDonald (LeBlanc); and his children, Veronica (Robert Howatson), Lawrence MacDonald (Maudeen) and Gerard MacDonald (Colleen). He is also survived by his six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
