He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Judy Gilchrist (MacDonald). He is survived by: his children, Scott Gilchrist (Anne Boucher) and Cathy McGee (Stephen); his grandchildren, Sandy McGee, Matthew Gilchrist, Carly Gilchrist and Stephanie McGee; and his brother Hugh Gilchrist. He is also survived by his extended family and cousins.
