He is survived by: his siblings, Leroy Downey (Alfreda), Danny Simmonds (Betty), Clemmie Simmonds Jr. (Wanda), Albert Downey (Anne), Murphy Simmonds (Elizabeth), Victoria Simmonds, Wanda Williams (Victor) and Wanque Simmonds; his grandchildren, Navalle Lloyd, Angelya Russell, Latino Felcher, Anndraya Gero, Synia Smith, Trevell Smith, Fort McMurray, Joshua Downey (Melissa), Brittany Mercer, Ml'Shayah, Nyia Shea, Corner Brook and Isaiah Tobin; his niece Deangela; and his godchildren, Tekara Smith and Anthony Simmonds. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
