It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clara Beals of North Preston, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Downey and Vera Beals (Clearance) of North Preston; and her siblings, Isaac Lloyd (North Preston), Sylvia Berry, Paul, Nick and Amos.

She is survived by: her close friend Calvin Cain; her children, Tamica (Ashley), Giselle (Jody), Nelson (Terri Lynn), Ralisha (Emery) and Folisha Dartmouth (Henry); her godparents, Burley Provo and Wiley Cain; her son Geil Downey; her siblings, Bertha, Sherry Lynn, Vera (Toronto), Linda (Hank), Darlene, Vena Mae, Delores, Diane North Preston, Terry (Alberta), Flemming (Violet) and Timmy (Dartmouth); her nieces, Poala Beals and Clarann Downey; and her close friends, Ada Mae Smith, Vale Cain, Donald Beals, Jason Downey, Fedel Cain and Dezine Downey. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 1 Great grandchild.

In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 8th, at 1:00pm at Saint Thomas Baptist Church, North Preston by invitation only.
