She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Grant and Jessie Grant (Weir); her grandson Mark Thompson; and her siblings, Anne Andrew, Laurie (Edna), George, Earle, Phillip and Clifford.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Claudia), Sharon Tanner (John) and Sue Gibbon (Tim); her grandchildren, Michele Thompson, Jessie Lipsit (Andrew), Katie Cawthra (Chris), Colten Tanner (Crystal), Travis Gibbon (Victoria) and Todd Gibbon-Thorne (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Owen Thompson, Cameron, Joshua Lipsit, Theodore, Thomas Cawthra, Lachlan and Avery Gibbon; her sisters, Avis Gravelle, Doris Grant and Brenda White (Jeff); her siblings-in-law, Jack Andrew, Marie Grant, Blanche Grant and Susan Grant; and also Abby Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
