It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Ethel Burgess (Newport Station, Nova Scotia), born in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 25, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Will" and Alice Harvey (Rushforth); her grandson Corey Burgess; her siblings, Lillian MacPherson, Bessie Sanderson, Gladys Harvey, Annie Harvey, James Harvey, Louis Harvey, Daniel Harvey, Edward and Edwin; and her son-in-law George Mingle.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh Edwards Burgess; her children, Herman Burgess (Karen), Bea Olsen (Eric), Kings Co, Karleen Mingle, Susan Burgess, Ross Burgess (Sandy), Lawrence Burgess (Gale), Riverside Corner, Steven Burgess (Lynn), Jennifer Barker (Ken), Martock and Doug Burgess (Heather); and her brother John "Jack" Harvey (Louise). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
