It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Irene Gibson of Newport Station, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Caldwell and Sarah Caldwell (Whitehead); her husband James "Jim" Gibson; her daughter Patsy; her granddaughter Sarah; her grandson-in-law Paul; her siblings, Frank, Ross, Cecil, Ben, Douglas Caldwell, Caroline Garland and Joyce Kelly; and her half-siblings, Ralph, Donald Whitehead and Catherine.
She is survived by: her children, Rae (John), Julia, Janice (Ted), Jim (Pat), Kathy (Myles), Scott and Cory (Amy); her grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew (Amy), Marcy (Makyle), Shawn (Suraya), Samantha, Tyler, Megan, Ally, Myles (Mireille), Ryan, Maya and Elliott; her great grandchildren, Johnny, Isadora, Isaac and Ella; her sister Jennie (Dean); her sister-in-law Carol; her family Gloria; her children, Dougal, Ian, Duncan and Gail; and the parents of children, Karen and Jamie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
