It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Mae Edwards of Newport Station, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Shanks and Annie Shanks (Whitehead); her son Barry; her sons-in-law, Terry Swinamer and Michael Hardy; and her siblings, Annie Hunter, Mary Gibson, Lena Harvie, Laulia Harvey, John, Ralph and Irvin.
She is survived by: her husband Wilfred Douglas Edwards; her daughters, Sandra Swinamer, Wile Settlement, Susan Golan and Alberta; her grandchildren, Tim Muir (Elaine), Heather Macumber (Jimmy), Michelle Underwood (Gary), Eddie Golan, Jeffrey Golan and Matthew Swinamer (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon Muir, Evan, Connor Macumber, Lukas, Grayson, Alexis Underwood, Logan, Maddison Swinamer, Aushon, Mikaya and Aroura Golan; and her siblings, Shirley Ward and Reid Shanks. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 7-9 p. m. Monday, 24, 2020, in Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P. O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. (Provincial Covid-19 rules apply, Face Masks and Social Distancing).
