She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rexford "Rex" and Hilda Mary McDermaid (Voutour); her siblings, Hilda Dorothy Ann, Brenda Joyce and William 'Billy'; her aunt Mary Voutour; her parents-in-law, Wilfred 'Biff' and Genevieve 'Jenny' McPherson (Oliver); her siblings-in-law, Marlene Jewer, Judy McPherson, Simone McDermaid, Fray Hogan, Bill Jewer, George Snook, Brian McPherson and Raymond 'Goodlord Hogan; her nephew Darrell McDermaid; and also Brian Russell.

She is survived by: her husband Blair McPherson; her daughters, Tracy McPherson (Bernie), Baker (Calgary) and Leah Carpenter (Dartmouth); her grandchildren, Kristen, Jesse and Holly (Calgary); her stepgrandchildren, Madison (Calgary) and Nolan (New Waterford); her great grandchildren, Aleah, Faith and Kaiden (Calgary); and her brothers, Richard 'Dickie' (Evelyn), Rexford 'Junior', Robert 'Bob' (Sue) and Charles 'Peewee' (Judith). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
