Robert James MacDonnell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2021, at the age of 86, Robert James MacDonnell (New Waterford, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter MacDonnell and Florence Isabel MacDonnell (MacIsaac); his siblings, Father Angus Alex MacDonnell and Marcella; and his half-brother John H. Gehrke.
He is survived by: his wife Harriett Phillips; his children, Corrine (McIsaac), Peter (Mary Ingraham), Daryl (Louise Desrochers) and Colin (Anita Heinekamp); his great grandchild Reese MacDonnell; and his siblings, Christine (late John Mullins) of Cornerbrook, NL, Julia (late Frank Leahy) of Lakefield, ON, Ann (RJ MacDougall) of Waltham, Mass, Mary (Marwood Payne) of Warsaw, ON and Neil of North Bay, ON. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in his name to the St. Vincent de Paul Foodbank in New Waterford.
