She was predeceased by: her parents, Alessandro Parisotto (Alexander) and Maria Parisotto (Rizzotto); and her husband Robert Porter. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Cheetham (Joe) and Stella Porter (Joe MacKinnon); her grandchildren, Edward Gillis (Roberta), Aaron Gillis (Nicole), Matthew Cheetham (Eleni Xidos), Marc Cheetham, Kathleen Cheetham (Charles Ross), Sarah Cheetham (Dylan MacDonald) and Vessa Darroch McNeil (Cole Barry); her great grandchildren, Dante, Jaxxon Gillis and Finley Cheetham; her stepchildren, Linda Bruton (Dave), Barb Coleman (Don), June Speiran (Randy), Cathy McMullin (Donnie Foster), Carol Power (Greg Andrews), Pat McMullin and Robert McMullin (Gail); her siblings, Mary, Olga, Bruna, Vanda, Alexander and Artemio; and her godson Gary Townsend.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parish Church of Saint Leonard, Mount Carme (3180 Mt Carmel Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4E4). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
