She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearce Corbett and Violet Corbett (MacLeod); her extended family Joseph; her siblings, Danny, Wayne, Nash, Joseph, Charlie and Ellen; and her extended family, Marie (Len), Gordon (Rosalie), Joey and Freddie.

She is survived by: her siblings, Eileen (Al Cobb) of Ontario, Marilyn Melvydas (late Albinas) of Ontario, Elaine of Ontario, Nick (late Margie), Rannie (Diane) and Gerald (Grace); her sister-in-law Christina; and her extended family, Maggie McLellan, Delores O'Neil (Bill), John (Lorraine), Leonard (Judy), Dan Hugh (Diane), Arlene MacLeod (Lawrence), Jerry McLellan and Lorne McLellan (Debbie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in Theresa's memory can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
