He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Theresa Horton of Canso, NS and Alexander Matthew Miller of New Waterford, NS.; his wife Elaine Miller (LeDrew); his brothers, Cyril and Brian; and his sisters-in-law, Theresa and Irene.

He is survived by: his daughters, Meagan Kennedy (David Kennedy), Kerrie Roberts (Scott Roberts) and Erin Holub (Peter Holub); his grandchildren, Duncan, Hugh, Angus, Mairinn, Joseph, Bridget, Doyle, Keaghan, Ethan and Nolan; and his siblings, Alex, Kevin (Fran), Gerry, Judy, Rohan, Darryl, Danny and Patricia (Jimmy).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Ninian Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G2L8). A burial will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (2803 Ohio East Rd, Antigonish, NS B2G2K8).
