He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nicholson and Emma Nicholson (MacDonald); his siblings, Robbie, Jenina, Veronica and Theresa; and his brothers-in-law, Ernest Cormier, Reggie Dwyer and Morrison Dupe.

He is survived by: his daughter Bridget Snider (Chris); his grandson Bentley of Ontario; his sisters, Jemina and Helen; and his niece Ann. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
