She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Deal and Dora Alice Berry; her husband Stephen Francis Taylor; and her brothers, Jackie (Eleanor) and Philip Deal (Wanna).

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel (Adel), Stephen, Walter (Linda) and Christopher (Lana); her sister Pauline Whiteway; and her aunt Sister Virgina Deal (SC). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
