It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy (Brady) Quigley (New Waterford, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Brady and Nellie Brady (Crombie); her husband John William Quigley; her sons, David Quigley and Bill Quigley; her grandson Gordon Quigley; her son-in-law Adrian MacKinnon; and her sisters, Barbara and Dolly.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Bates (Bernie), Joanne (late Adrian McKinnon), Gordon (Marie) and Richard; her daughters-in-law, Lynn Duprey (late David Quigley) and Terry MacDonald (late Bill Quigley); and her grandchildren, Leyanne, Scott, April, David, Willie, Gordie, Melissa, Ashley and Justin. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren; As well as her extended family any dear friends.
Dorothy had her favourite charity's, including the Canadian Diabetes Association and the MS Society—alongside contributions to the QE2 Hospital Foundation—Dorothy's legacy is one of active compassion, service, and charity.
