It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Joseph McKay (New Waterford, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 8, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew McKay and Rita McKay (Mahon); his wife Viola (MacPherson); his uncle Jim; and his aunts, Clara, Violet, Gertrude, Emma and Annie Mae.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Tobin (Dennis), Sibley and Kelly; his grandchildren, Joshua, Logan (Zoe) and Connor; his siblings, Wayne (Tish), Novena Inez (Doug) and Glenda (Bobby); his nieces, Janelle and Melanie; his nephew Chad; and his aunt Sarah.
