He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Deruelle and Jeanne Deruelle (Lotz); his wife Velma Noreen Murray; his siblings, Amelia Miller (William), Paul (Kathleen), Melvina Pettipas (Gus) and Jean Eldridge (Melvin); his daughter-in-law Susan Marsh Deruelle; and his great grandchildren, Jack and Barry Lovell.

He is survived by: his children, Arnold (Judy), Karen Gosbee (Lonnie), Wendell (Paula) and Tracy; his grandchildren, Kelli McPhee (Stephen), Jaime Lovell (Deruelle), Delynn Reid (Geoff), Lonnie Gosbee (Brenda Lee), Jeffrey Deruelle (Kayla McCarron), Justin Deruelle (Meaghan MacQueen), Mitchell Deruelle (Ally Gray), Ethan Deruelle and Kellan Deruelle; and his great grandchildren, Trevor McPhee (Miranda) of Matthew McPhee, A. J., Keely, Shea Lynn Gosbee, Maya, Sydney Lovell, Clark, Parker Reid, Laurie, Beau, Zander and Hudson Deruelle.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Victoria Volunteer Fire Department, who dad was very proud to support.
