He was predeceased by: his father Chester Keddy; and his grandparents, Agustin, Grace Keddy, John and Rosella Meister.

He is survived by: his mother Alberta Keddy (Meister); his wife Meredith Keddy (Miller); his sons, Joshua (Courtney) and Tyler (Jennifer); his stepson Garrett (Melissa); his grandchildren, Agustin, Lonnie, Jeramiah, Delilah, Morgan, Cole, Luke, Kaiah, Dylan, Kadence and Tiergan; and his siblings, Susan (Dave), Coleen (Dana), Daryl (Brenda), Darren (Betty) and Stacey (Andrea). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Nova Scotia or Diabetes Canada.
