We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2020, Heather Lynn Penny-Mitton (New Ross, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Casey and Meta Casey (Hillier); her sister Florence Shute (Casey); and her sister-in-law Valerie Casey. She is survived by: her husband Laurice Mitton; her children, Kim Penny Cassidy (Robert), Kevin Penny Halifax (Dee Osmond), Chris Penny (Emily) and Ian Penny (Audra Hill); her stepson Andrew Mitton (Lisa); her grandchildren, Emma, Lawson, Vanessa, Presley, Ashton and Allie; her brothers, Brian Casey and Gordon Casey (Judy); and her brother-in-law Bob Shute.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or the Lunenburg County Victorian Order of Nurses.
