With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Margaret Hiltz (New Ross, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson S. and Mary L. Keddy; her husband Carl Hiltz; her siblings, Reuben, Harry, Heb, Norman, Effie, Vera, Rosalie, Leona, Iona and Gladys; and her son-in-law Ian Veinot.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Cook (Otis) of New Ross, Jo Veinot of New Ross and Carson Hiltz (Val) of New Ross; her grandchildren, Steven Cook (Jen), Tammie Cook (Clifford), Wayne Veinot, David Veinot (Jen), Allyson Hiltz and Michaela Hiltz (Sam); her great grandchildren, Lawson, Faith, Jade, Saege, Ava, Liam and Jaida; and her sisters, Goldie and Velma.
Memorial donations, in Eva's memory, may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department (902-689-2422) or the St. Augustine of Hippo Anglican Church and St. Augustine Cemetery (1587 Forties Rd., New Ross, NS B0J 2M0).
