He was predeceased by: his parent Harry McDow; his wife Ruth McDow (Herget); his siblings, Carl, Alton, Harold, Ray, Delbert, Marguerite, Thora and Vivian; and his grandson Kevin.

He is survived by: his parent Clara McDow (Keddy); his children, Bruce of Windsor, Garth (Debbie), Neil (Kathleen) and Gina Langevin (Ron) of New Ross; and his siblings, Waldo (Marilyn) and Emma McNally of Berwick. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
