She was predeceased by: her parents, George Naugler and Alice Naugler (Lenihan); her former husband Russell Skerry, Sr.; her husband Elias Leary; her sons, George Skerry, Edison Skerry and Charles Skerry; and her siblings, Madeline, Marge, Jean, Joyce, Della, Patsy and George.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Skerry (Betty) and Virginia Rafuse (Michael); her daughters-in-law, Anna Skerry (Edison), Dianne Skerry (George) and Ottawa; her grandchildren, Dewayne Skerry (Paula), Annapolis, Patricia Woodworth (Geoff), Wanda Hasse, Jeffrey Skerry, Chester, Edison Skerry (Tanya), Tanya Peterson (Mike), Musquodoboit, Adam Rafuse and Kristian Rafuse; and her siblings, Faye Lenihan, Mary Dorey, Doris Weisner, Harvey, Morris and Billy. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter.
