She was predeceased by: her parents, George Merrett and Hilda Merrett (Aker); her husband Raymond Sr.; her son Raymond Jr.; and her brother Gerald.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Halifax), Kenneth (Edmonton), Timothy (Halls Harbour) and Darren (Pointe); and her siblings, Barbara Davison (Lou), Richard (Judy), Kentville, Garth (Carla Teal) and Ottawa. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses or the Valley Regional Hospital.
