With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Arthur Stephen Ruggles Johnston of New Minas, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 8, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Stephen and Lilian Johnston; his son Robert; his brother Derek; and his sister-in-law Betty.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Elliott); his daughters, Karen Veinot (Neil) and Susan Bryski (Terry); his grandchildren, Nick Veinot (Kimi), Mike Veinot (Jen), Grace Stoddart (Terran) and David Stoddart (Cait); his great grandchildren, Adam, Eric and CeCe Veinot; his stepgranddaughters, Natasha Hamelin and Latoya Waters; and his close friend Helen.
