She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter Nickerson and Lulu Nickerson (Butler); her husband Silver Clark Turner; and her siblings, Malcolm "Mac" Nickerson, Helena, Audrey and Grace.
She is survived by: her sons, James and Gary (Judy); her siblings, Carol Newell and Douglas Nickerson (Nita); and her grandchildren, Dana, Derrick, Greg, Mehgan and Neil. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
