He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Alexander and Edith Jean Currie (Mills); his children, Leyla Caldwell (Allan) of Lawrencetown and Duane Currie of New Minas; his siblings, Merelyn Currie of Halifax and Brian Currie (Lida) of Moncton; his grandchildren, Shane, Megan, Scott and Shelby; his sister-in-law Brenda Ross; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Arsenault (Ron), Jamie Currie, Tammy Hawkes and Jason Hawkes; his great-niece Amy Campbell; his friends, Tom and Marley; and his wife Joan (Nemeth).
