The memory of Lowna Georgia Veinot of New Minas, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 23, 2025, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell and Lois (Huntley); her former husband Hubert Gammon; her husband Albert Veinot; her stepson Troy Veinot; her brothers, Garnet MacDonald and Waldren "Fred" MacDonald; and her stepgrandson Nathan Tupper.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Gammon (Mary) and Kathy Gammon (Mike Tupper); her stepson Duane Veinot (Natasha); her grandchildren, Nathan Gammon (Paige), Colton, Dylan Tupper, Megan, Tayler and Kinzee Veinot; her close friend Calvin Weatherbee; and her nephews, Reg and Jamie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Scott's Bay Cemetery.
