With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurence John Coldwell of New Minas, Nova Scotia, born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 3, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laurence John Coldwell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allison Coldwell and Alice Coldwell (Vaughan); and his brothers, Wayne and Blair. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Coldwell (Bishop); his children, Karen Knowles (Corey), Sackville, Jody Coldwell (Wanda) of Calgary, AB, Troy Coldwell (Sandy) and Gaspereau; his sisters, Linda Hancock, Marilyn Ells and Lakeville; and his grandchildren, Brittany (Tom), Adam (Luke), Halona (Joaquin), Cassandra (Victoria), Leah and Jana (Alstin). He is also survived by six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions there will be no visitation and a private funeral service was held at 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
Donations in memory may be made to the New Minas Baptist Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
