It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Marie Francis of New Minas, Nova Scotia, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 25, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Churney and Dorita Churney (MacDonald); and her brother Dannie Churney. She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike"; her daughters, Katherine "Kathy" Trask (Jeff), Paula Francis and Gaspereau; her granddaughters, Lauren Trask and Maren Francis; and her brother Joseph Churney (Francine). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
