Jean Maxine Hazel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Maxine Hazel of New Minas, Nova Scotia, born in Canning, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm Leroy Hazel; her parents, Winslow Barkhouse and Velma Barkhouse (Crouse); and her siblings, Myrna Fulton (Barkhouse) and Lewis Barkhouse.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lockyer (Dale), Karen Hazel and Ronald Hazel; her brothers, Albert Barkhouse (Grace), Douglas Barkhouse (Lavinia) and Canard; and her grandchildren, David Khallil of Lethbridge, Alberta, Nathaniel Khallil of Lethbridge, Alberta, Jeremy Schofield of Lethbridge, Alberta, Tristan Schofield of Lethbridge, Alberta, Jessica Hazel and Amanda Hazel. She is also survived by two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.
