We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2023, at the age of 97, Hilda Mary (Pettipas Murphy) Dunn of New Minas, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Walter; her husbands, John Murphy and Harold Dunn; her siblings, Theresa Taylor and Frank Pettipas; and her children, Shirley Fraser, Gerald and Russell Murphy.

She is survived by: her sister Isabelle Kennedy of Toronto, ON; her children, Dan Murphy (Lorraine), Charlie Murphy (Kathleen) of Lethbridge, AB, Michael Murphy, Sadie Dunn (Kevin), Canaan, Donnie Murphy (Gina Brewer), Ohio, Antigonish Co, Frank Murphy (Ornella) of Lethbridge, AB and Brian Murphy (Sandy Jenkins) of Edmonton, AB; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Murphy. She is also survived by her twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, eight stepchildren, fifteen step grandchildren and nine step, great-grandchildren.
