Helen Josephine Wiseman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, Helen Josephine Wiseman of New Minas, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred and Evelyn (Melvin); her husband Raymond John Wiseman; her son John Wiseman; and her siblings, Shirley Carter (Tom) and Garnet Woodworth.

She is survived by: her children, Charlene Wiseman of Canaan, Sandra Burrell (Michael) of Bear River, Katherine Ryan (Robert) of St. Johns, NL, Heather Finn (Jim) of Vancouver, BC, Raymond Jr. Wiseman (Marisete) of New Glasgow and Brian Wiseman (Wilma) of Toronto, ON; and her brother David Woodworth (Judy) of Alberta. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (43 Belcher St, Kentville, NS B4N3X3).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Fidelis House or the St. Joseph's Catholic Women's League (CWL).
