She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Simpson and Ella Simpson (Porter); her husband Edward; her son Vernon; her stepson Howard; her brothers, Arthur, Keith "Major" and Joseph "Ted"; and her half-siblings, Greta, Dorothy, Harry and John.
She is survived by: her sister Thelma Huntley of New Minas; and her daughter-in-law Geraldine of Glenmont. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
