She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Connell and Ivy Connell (Woolford); and her siblings, Ivy McKay (Connell) and Allen Connell. She is survived by: her son Michael "Mike"; her grandchildren, Melissa Barnett (Brant), Canard, Leslie "Les" Connell (Nicole) of Enterprise, ON and Emma Connell of Toronto, ON; and her great grandchildren, Ada, Finlay, Fern, Macy and Logan. She is also survived by nieces, nephew and grandnephew.
