She was predeceased by: her parents, Borden Lohnes and Edna Richards Lohnes (Parker); her husband Ernie; her sons, Donnie and Duane; and her brother-in-law Sherman Lockhart.

She is survived by: her caregiver Linda Lockhart; her granddaughters, Kathleen King Edmonton (Nick Betts) and Kimber King (Matt); her niece Tawnia Sanford Ammar; her daughter-in-law Michelle King of Coldbrook, NS; her sisters-in-law, Minnie Crossman and Donna Marr; and her cousins, Donalda Dexter (Leon) of Tantallon, NS and Shirley Greenough of Milton, NS..
