He was predeceased by: his parents, Robie O'Brien and Evelyn O'Brien (Melvin); his father-in-law Bertwell Keddy; and his brother-in-law Aubrey Keddy. He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Keddy); his daughter Christine Brown; his grandson Daniel; his son Ian (Melissa); his granddaughters, Eva and Emily; his great grandchild Greg Hutt (Diane); his sister Diane (Ken Scott); his mother-in-law Mary Keddy; his sister-in-law Darlene Keddy; his nephew Cameron Scott (Cate); and his niece Kim VanMeer (Jamie).
