He was predeceased by: his parent John Patterson; his wife Mary Rosalie; his son Garth; his brothers, Ivan and Clifford; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and Rosella.
He is survived by: his parent Lillian Patterson (Hiltz); his children, Anne Eye (Bryson) of Greenwich, Michael (Janet), Riverview and Gregory (Susan); his daughter-in-law Shirley of Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Lauren, Heather, Michelle, Marianne, Matthew, Joshua, Zachery and Ian; and his great grandchildren, Claire, Nathaniel, Georgia, Charles, Jackson, Carter and Bentley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
