He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer A. Lewis and Laura F. Lewis (Saunders); and his sister Marsha Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Lynn Lewis (Kenney); his children, Tara Lewis (Robert MacLeod) of Rothesay, NB and Tyler Lewis (Katlyn Atwell) of New Minas, NS; his grandson Owen Lewis; and his brother-in-law Michael Kenney of Kentville, NS. He is also survived by nephew; a great niece, and several great-nephews.
