She was predeceased by: her parent William Embree; and her brothers, Roger and Brent. She is survived by: her parent Hilda Embree (Moore); her husband Gordon; her children, Richard (Jennifer), Susan Trude (Chad) of Sunderland, ON and Ellen Osborne (Glen) of Pickering, ON; her grandchildren, Evan, Carter, Reid, Hannah, Aiden and Davis; and her siblings, Carol Embree, Kathryn Schlitt and Kenneth.
The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Wednesday June 6, 2018 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday June 7, 2018 . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Pictou Community New Horizon's Club.
