He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elmo and Elizabeth Ann Burns (Chisholm); his siblings, Marie Zammitt and Donald Burns; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Burns, Charles Zammitt, David Chisholm, Francis Chisholm and Richard Chisholm.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Burns (Chisholm); his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Williams (Glenn); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Chisholm (Broadway) and Edward Chisholm (Shirley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
