She was predeceased by: her son Peter Whitman. She is survived by: her husband Duncan Dingle; her children, Susan Williams (Mick), Janet Whitman (Candice Kanepa), Barbara Elliott (Scott) and George Whitman; her grandchildren, Kyran, Bronwyn, Rowan Williams, Casey, Wren and Oliver Elliott; her siblings, John Langley (Judy) and Linda MacDonald (Norval); her sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth Fleming; her stepdaughter Donna Dingle Delgado; her children, Christina and Robbie; and her nieces and nephews, Adam, Andrew, Nicholas, Lauren, Cathy and Bruce.
Donations in memory of Sylvia may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or Trinity United Church.
