Stephen Lamey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Lamey (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Westville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lamey and Margaret Lamey (MacDonald); his siblings, James, Willie, Alex, John and Agnes O'Brien; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Lamey, Bill Golding, Whit Davidson and Felix Rorison.
He is survived by: his wife Joan of Fraser's Mountain; his daughter Debbie Lamey-MacDonald Plymouth (Ian MacDonald); and his grandchildren, Lacey Morrell-Pierre (Joceyln Pierre), Brett and Tristan MacDonald. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Palliative Care Unit, Aberdeen Hospital New Glasgow.
