With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Joseph MacGillivray (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on July 25, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Wilfred Cameron "Bud" MacGillivray; his sister Terri Johnson; and his aunts and uncles, Pauline Bryan, Betty MacKinnon, Peter Slevin, Alvin MacDonald, Kevin and Gordon MacGillivray.

He is survived by: his mother Mary Frances MacGillivray (MacKinnon); his fiancée Shauna Marshall; his daughter Jordyn MacGillivray (Braeden Boucher); his stepchildren, Makaela Boudreau (Ponds), Jonathan MacGillivray (Jaina), Grande Prairie and Dominick Boudreau; his brothers, David and John Allen; and his aunts and uncles, Mike Bryan, Pat Bryan, Eleanor Slevin, Marsha MacDonald and Joan MacGillivray.
