She was predeceased by: her parents, Colin F. MacKinnon and Jennie MacKinnon (MacDonald); her close friend Matt Marshall; and her brothers-in-law, Alan Cogan and William Byrne.

She is survived by: her sisters, Cecilia Cogan (Bedford), Theresa Byrne (New Glasgow) and Eileen MacKinnon.
