He was predeceased by: his brother Richard MacMillan; his parents-in-law, Jock Alexander and Mary Alexander; his brothers-in-law, Art Alexander (Peggy) and Bill Alexander; his niece Meghan; and his nephew David Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sons, Michael, Paul and Shawn MacMillan of Halifax; his grandsons, Connor Sharpe-MacMillan and Carter Doiron-MacMillan; his brothers, Neil (Ann) of New Glasgow, Barry (Bridget) of St. Thomas, ON and Vincent (Darla) of Kingston, ON; his siblings-in-law, Judy Dickie (Sheldon), Robin Alexander (Frances) of Trenton, NS and Sharon Alexander of New Glasgow, NS.; his brothers, Andy Dupuis (Joyce) of Trenton, NS and John Langley (Judy) of Baddeck, NS.; and his caregiver Rachel MacDonald. He is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church until the pandemic and his ill health prevented his regular attendance.
