Ritva Knoester Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2021, at the age of 81, Ritva Knoester of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Unto Happonen and Martta Happonen (Rantonen); her husband Rudy Knoester; her siblings, Sweden, Jarmo, Jussi Happonen, Raili Turunen and Merja Brewitz; her brother-in-law Louis Toteda; and her nephews, Robert, Larry Toteda and Joseph Trevisanutto.
She is survived by: her son Eric Knoester (Donna); her granddaughters, Hannah and Olivia of Victoria, B. C.; her son Harry Knoester (Charlene); her sisters, Pirjo Kettunen (Seppo), Kaisa Bailey (Robin), Tarja Toivanen (Martti) and Finland; and her siblings-in-law, Ritva Happonen, Finland, Joanne Toteda, Louise Trevisanutto (Dennis), Thunder Bay, Yrjo Turunen and Borje Brewitz.
Donations may be made in Rita's memory to the Maritime Odd Fellows Home, Pictou , Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or any charity of choice.
