He was predeceased by: his parents, George Randall and Myrtle Mary Ellen Ervin (Schrader); his brother Bari; his brother-in-law Frank Levangie; his nephew Brian Levangie; and his parents-in-law, Howard and Olive White.

He is survived by: his grandson Kyle; his wife Joan (White); his children, Brad Ervin (Lisa) and Gloria MacDonald (Albert); his grandson Jarrett MacDonald; his siblings, Bruce (Janet), Greg (Barb), Bill (Kathy Kate), Brenda Levangie and Wendy Williams (Donald); his siblings-in-law, Chris Ervin, Gordon White (Carolyn), Brian White (Beverly) and Dennis White (Debbie); his adoptive mother Linda (Jean); and his uncle Mac Shrader. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
